The institution
A dream nurtured, carried forward
KGI, Singnor was established in the memory of Late Smt. Kesar Devi Godara (1924–1997) in order to fulfil the dream she nurtured. The institution is registered under the Rajasthan Society Registration Act, 1958, and is governed by a governing body constituted of fifteen members drawn from various sections of society.
Its main mission is the socio-economic and educational development of the masses. The main emphasis is on educating people in such a way that they are empowered to seek a fruitful livelihood for themselves, and can protect their right to live a life of dignity and self-esteem.

Our work
Programmes commenced
From scholarships and health camps to plantation drives and vocational training, our work reaches students, farmers, women and youth across the villages of Jhunjhunu.
Free health check-up camps
Free health check-up camps are organised in which doctors render their services, along with the distribution of medicines.
Workshops for farmers
Workshops bring socio-economic security and awareness, improve farming techniques and provide insight regarding agriculture.
Sports activities
Cricket carnivals, volleyball cups and inter-village competitions are organised to inculcate sportsman spirit and build physical and mental strength in today’s youth.
Welfare for physically challenged students
Suitable material such as braille books and uniforms is distributed to physically challenged students.
Green and Clean Udaipurwati
Thousands of saplings are planted to preserve ecological balance, alongside seminars that spread awareness for sustainable community development.

Help us reach one more child
₹6,000 a year educates a child from a deprived family up to class 10 or class 12. Contributions to KGI are eligible for deduction u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act.
