The institution

KGI, Singnor is established in the memory of Late Smt. Kesar Devi Godara (1924-1997) in order to fulfill her nurtured dream.
The institution has been registered under Rajasthan Society Registration Act, 1958. KGI is governed by a governing body constituted of 15 members from various sections of the society.
The main mission of the KGI is socio-economic and educational development of the masses with a vision “Social Welfare in all aspects of life for the society in general” and make them able to take active participation in health, education and self governance to eliminate inequalities.
The main emphasis of KGI is to alleviate human suffering of all kinds and to educate the people in such a way they could be empowered to seek fruitful livelihood for themselves, and can protect their rights to live a life of dignity and self esteem.

Aspirants

  • To work for the social welfare, social unity and equality, and to work for the economic well being of the masses general and deprived sections of the society in particular.
  • Economic and social empowerment of women and children, eradication of social evils like dowry system, child marriage, female foeticide, to establish “Women Help Centres”, women hostels both for working and non-working and to work against discrimination and violence against women and girls in particular, making them aware for their legal rights and domestic violence Act.
  • Establishing schools and academic institutions to impart quality education to the children and to narrow the gap between urban and rural education system by providing national level curriculum and providing computer education to the students in the relatively backward area.
  • Improvement of public health and sanitation, to spread family welfare awareness, to develop sportsman spirit through various programmes and organizing sports events in order to infuse courage and inculcate moral values among youth and to make them proud of their own country and heritage.
  • Training of rural youth especially women for social transformation and economic development and promotion of rural income generating occupation like dairy, poultry etc.
  • Vocational training to educate unemployed and enhancing people’s awareness about environmental degradation.

Programs commenced

Ambedkar Pratibha Scholarship

Every year scholarships are awarded to more than 50 meritorious students of SC & ST who are studying in govt. schools and have feeble financial conditions.

Free health check-up camps

Free health check-up camps are organised in which doctors render their services along with distribution of medicines.

Workshop for farmers

To bring socio-economic security, awareness, improvement in farming techniques and provides insight regarding agriculture.

Sports Activity

To inculcate sportsman spirit, physical and mental strength in today’s youth, different sports activities like cricket carnival, volley ball cup, various inter village competition etc. are organized.

Welfare programmes for physically challenged students

Suitable material are distributed to physically challenged students like braille books, uniforms etc.

Green and Clean Udaipurwati

Thousands of saplings are planted for preservation of ecological balance. Also conducts seminars to spread awareness for sustainable community development.

Vocational training programmes

To generate employment especially women employment, different training programmes are being organized.

Animal Welfare

Providing shelter, fodder and safety to stray animals through “Gaushala”.

Conservation of folk culture and art

Contributes in organizing fairs, traditional games and inter-village competitions.

Commemoration of martyrs

In the memory of martyrs several programmes are organized where war widows are also assisted.

World Yoga Day

Every year organizes world yoga day, yoga camps for a healthy & happy society to contribute in nation building.

Seminars on various issues

Female foeticides, sex ratio, beti bachao-beti padhao etc.

Women empowerment

To ensure the participation of women in the development of society.

HOW YOU CAN HELP TO ACHIEVE THE MISSION?

  • By contributing through cheque/draft / cash for general development and charitable activities/towards corpus fund.
  • By fully funding the construction of rooms, buildings for schools and hospitals.
  • By sponsoring a child under “Sponsor a Child Scheme”. You have to adopt a child and finance his/her education up to class 10th, class 12th as per your choice. For this you will have to pay Rs. 6,000 per child per annum which may be of great help for educating the children from the deprived families.
  • By donating a vehicle (Jeep/Utility Vehicle, ambulance etc.) to be used for the community development work and relief work by the trust.
  • By giving help in kind like blankets/clothing, medicines/medical equipments, furniture, books, computers, stationaries or other useful equipments for
    the purpose of charity, community education and development activities.
